Meet mysterious jungle residents with spidery fingers, tiny rubber tappers in the treetops and zig-zagging family guys during a guided tour around the zoo Gettorf. You will learn which animals are behind these enigmatic descriptions when we visit the representatives of South American wildlife. But also less enigmatic South Americans are presented, so we shall not be missing the woolly alpacas and the primeval tapir. The abundant bird life of the continent will be worthily represented by the large, colorful macaws. Of special interest are certainly the squirrel monkeys, the popular siblings of “Mr. Nilsson,” especially loves by our young visitors.

This guided tour is offered at no additional charge. It is subject to the normal admission fees. Meet us at 3 p.m. at the zoo entrance.
