Gettorf Animal Park

The park is open every day of the year.

Today the park is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Last admission 1 h before closure of the park.

Summer Opening Schedule (from April to October)	9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Winter Opening Schedule (from November to March)	10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

We ask for your understanding that the animals will be brought into their stables near closing time. Therefore they may not be seen at the exhibits any more.

Free parking

About 400 cars will find room on our free parking lot near the entrance of Tierpark Gettorf.

There is also enough room for a number of coaches and mobile homes.

Please observe that directly in front of the entrance there is a row of disabled parking spaces. Please use these spaces only with a valid handicapped ID visible in the car.

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at Tierpark Gettorf!

Since our paths are very close to the exhibits, many animals get agitated when seeing dogs. And the dogs themselves are often frightened by our monkeys, which try to threaten them away. Therefore you cannot visit the zoo with a dog for the sake of the animals.

Exceptions apply to trained guide-dogs for the blind outside the animal houses. Please contact us beforehand if you want to visit the park with a guide-dog.
